If you are experiencing feelings of sadness, anxiety, or depression, MoodTools offers a range of tools to help improve your mood and support your journey to recovery.
MoodTools provides several evidence-based tools:
- Thought Diary: Analyze your thoughts and identify negative or distorted thinking patterns based on principles from Cognitive Therapy to improve your mood.
- Activities: Regain energy by engaging in energizing activities and track your mood before and after, drawing from Behavioral Activation Therapy.
- Safety Plan: Develop a safety plan to prevent suicide and access emergency resources during a crisis.
- Information: Access informative content, self-help guidelines, and internet resources for additional support.
- Test: Take the PHQ-9 depression questionnaire and track the severity of your symptoms over time.
- Video: Discover mood-enhancing and behavior-improving YouTube videos, including guided meditations and insightful TED talks.

In addition to supporting individuals with clinical depression, MoodTools can also benefit those without mental illness or individuals experiencing other mental disorders such as anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, seasonal affective disorder, dysthymia, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, or schizophrenia.
Pro Mode Information
All core features of MoodTools are available for free. Pro Mode offers additional features including Export, Cloud Sync, and Passcode Protection. Pro Mode is available through a subscription, with two options: $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year.
Pricing may vary depending on your country. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account upon confirmation of purchase. The subscription will automatically renew and the renewal fee will be charged 24 hours before the end of the monthly subscription period unless auto-renew is turned off in advance. You can manage your subscription and disable auto-renewal in your Account Settings after purchase.
